Grey water systems take water from your washing machines, shower and hand basins, treat it, store it and allow you to reuse it on garden irrigation, car washing, toilets and in washing machines. Alternatively there are simpler systems that disperse the water directly around the garden as soon as it has been used.

Untreated greywater must be filtered and dispersed within 24 hour while water fully treated to "A" quality can be stored and used when needed for purposes such as toilet flushing, washing machines, etc.

Prices range from a few thousand dollars for non-treatment/dispersal systems up to $10,000 - $15,000 for installed full treatment systems.
