How much water will I need to store, or recycle to meet my needs?
This will be determined by a combination of direct consultation and the use of our Aqualatorâ„¢ software to calculate your specific requirements and ensure they are adequately covered.
What happens when it does not rain often and my water storage is low?
We will ensure that you have a combination of mains water and own storage that can switch easily from one to the other, to make sure that you never run out.
Do I have to get council approval or fill out official application forms?
No council approval is required for less than 10,000 litres. WHA will notify council and the water authorities of installation and ensure all regulations are abided by.
What government rebates are available to me?
Sydney Water have rebates of up to $650 for rainwater tank installation. Some councils are also actively involved in encouraging rain water installations by offering their own incentives.
How long do I have to wait from order to installation?
One month from confirmation of your order.
Can I pay with credit card?
Yes we accept most credit cards, bpay and electronic bank transfers.
What is greywater and how can I use it?
Greywater is water from showers, baths, basins, washing machines and laundry tubs that can be reused untreated in garden irrigation systems or treated and stored for non-potable uses inside and outside the home.
Will the pressure from tanks be the same as I get from mains water?
Yes, when we install the right type of pump to suit your water flow and pressure needs.
Will a WHA rainwater system add value to my house?
As well as protecting the investment you have made in your garden, it will add value as water usage rates inevitably rise and restrictions continue to be imposed. PLUS, you are doing your bit to help us all think and act in sustaining our country's precious asset - water.
